- A new way to preserve fresh flowers - learn how to keep their beauty forever
Home decoration has always been a great place for those with a flair for ambiance to show their skills, and the secret is simple: put in a little extra "flower" effort to fill your home with charm. Everyone loves flowers. But even the most beautiful blooms will one day wither. How can you preserve that beauty for the long term? We have put together several surprisingly simple yet highly artistic methods for you. Let's take a look!

Many of the fresh flowers we display every day can be made into dried flowers, and bouquets that hold special meaning for us can be preserved even longer once dried. However, the flowers best suited for drying mostly share the trait of low moisture content, such as roses, forget-me-nots, and cockscomb. Beyond these, pine cones, reed flowers, sorghum heads, and pussy willow are also excellent "wild charm" floral materials. Below, we will teach you several methods for making dried flowers.
★How to make them★

1: Air drying is the simplest and most commonly used method for making dried flowers. Choose a warm, dry room with good ventilation, hang the flowers upside down with the blooms facing down and the stems up, and leave them in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to direct sunlight.

Method 2: Just like making leaf specimens, press them inside newspapers and place a heavy object on top. Note that every so often, you should swap out the newspaper above and below the flowers to keep them dry on both sides. Before pressing, arrange the shape the way you want it.

Method 3: Place the flowers between two sheets of white paper, then put aluminum foil used for heating food on the outside of the white paper, and press with an iron. Be careful to keep the time short and move quickly.
Once the dried flowers are made, we can create a decorative piece and place it in the bedroom or dining room.

Materials and tools to prepare:
Dried flowers, paper towels, a thick book, scissors, glue, canvas, a paintbrush, acrylic paint
First, arrange the dried flowers to create the effect you want, and trim off any excess stems. Then, take the flowers off the canvas, apply a thick layer of glue to both the front and back of each flower, and stick them back onto the canvas, pressing gently.
Finally, after waiting 45-60 minutes, use a brush dipped in acrylic paint to apply your favorite colors onto the flowers.
You can also use dried flowers to make a fresh, delicate coaster

Materials and tools to prepare:
Sliced wood, dried petals, epoxy resin (resin and hardener)
First, place the wood slice on paper, and place the air-dried flower petals, preferably dried petals of roses and hydrangeas, on top of the wood slice.
Then, following the instructions, pour the epoxy resin (resin and hardener) onto your coaster, covering the entire surface, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Finally, move it onto clean wax paper and wait 24-72 hours before it is ready to use.
If you are a crafty jewelry lover, why not try making a dried flower jewelry pendant!

Materials and tools to prepare:
Dried flowers, E6000 multi-purpose glue, Judikins Diamond Glaze, epoxy dome stickers and bezel settings, cardstock (without texture), gauze ribbon, jump rings, tweezers, pliers.
First, pick a small flower and glue it onto the cardstock with E6000. Position the epoxy dome sticker, and squeeze three drops of Diamond Glaze onto the center of the back of the sticker.
Then, place the epoxy dome sticker on top of the dried flower and press firmly on the raised dome in the center for about 45 seconds.
Then, place the epoxy dome sticker on top of the dried flower and press firmly on the raised dome in the center for about 45 seconds.
Finally, attach the jump ring and ribbon, and you're done!
The steps for making a fresh flower phone case are very simple. First, you need to prepare fresh flowers, then take the petals and press them in a book to make dried petals. The flowers used in this demonstration are carnation, baby's breath, sea thrift, waxflower, hydrangea, and Alstroemeria petals.
Materials and tools to prepare:
Pressed dried flowers of these six kinds: carnation, baby's breath, sea thrift, waxflower, and hydrangea
A white phone case, craft glue, tape, scissors, parchment paper, a ruler, a timer, two plastic cups, two wooden sticks, 50 cotton swabs, 50/50 casting epoxy resin (resin and hardener), acetone (or acetone-containing nail polish remover)
First, arrange the pressed flowers to create the effect you want. Remember that pressed flowers will become semi-transparent once covered by resin, so placing lighter-colored flowers underneath darker ones gives a better effect.
Then remove the dried flowers, apply a small amount of glue lightly to the largest flower, and gently stick it onto the phone case. Continue gluing the other pressed flowers until the planned layout is complete.
Place the ruler inside one plastic cup, and use a marker to make two marks on the cup. Make the first mark at the 3/8 inch point (about 9.5mm), and the second mark at the 3/4 inch point (about 19mm).
Set the timer to 2 minutes, and prepare a wooden stick for stirring. Slowly pour the resin into the plastic cup up to the first mark (3/8 inch). Next, slowly pour in the hardener up to the second mark (3/4 inch). Be sure not to pour too much.
Start the timer and stir with the wooden stick for 2 minutes, making sure the stick scrapes against the sides of the cup from time to time. When you see many bubbles forming in the cup, don't worry, they will disappear later. When the time is up, place the second plastic cup on the work surface, and prepare a second unused wooden stick for stirring.
Next, set the timer to 1 minute, pour the mixture from the first cup into the second cup, continue stirring until the timer stops, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Finally, pour the resin onto the phone case. Slowly pour a small amount of the newly mixed resin into the very center of the phone case, and use the wooden stick to spread the resin to the edges of the phone case, making sure the resin does not go beyond the edges. Pour more resin onto the phone case until the back of the case and all the pressed flowers are covered. Gently blow on the bubbles floating on the surface to make them disappear.
Place the phone case on parchment paper. While it dries, you need to keep an eye on it at all times (about one to two hours). If any resin spills over the edge of the phone case, wipe it clean with a cotton swab dipped in acetone.
