Even the most beautiful flowers will wither one day. How can you preserve that beauty for a long time? Consider turning fresh flowers into dried flowers.

Tie your favorite fresh flowers into a bundle with string or ribbon, and hang them in a well-ventilated place away from light. During this time, you will see the buds slowly shrink and the colors quietly change. After waiting 2 to 4 weeks, they become beautiful dried flowers. Of course, not all fresh flowers can be air-dried into dried flowers. Fresh flowers of varieties such as Physalis alkekengi (Chinese lantern), Craspedia (billy buttons), lavender, forget-me-nots, and baby's breath are recommended.

Pressing to dry is also very convenient. Take a dictionary or encyclopedia, insert a piece of parchment paper or wax paper, place the fresh flowers face down on the page, and then close the book. Wait 1 to 3 weeks, and the pressed flowers are done. Flat and beautiful dried flowers are great for making bookmarks, or framing them in a picture frame - both look wonderful.

Additionally, fresh flowers placed in a vase can also become dried flowers. Put a small amount of water in the vase, make sure most of the flowers can stand upright in the vase, and finally place it in a ventilated spot and it's done. Plants with relatively soft stems, such as baby's breath and hydrangea, can use this method.

Dried flowers have many uses. Using them for decoration is both beautiful and full of vitality.
