Jingde County in Anhui Builds a 10,000-mu Lingzhi (Reishi) Base with Annual Total Output Value Exceeding 200 Million Yuan
(Agricultural Wealth Network) Jingde County is committed to helping forest farmers prosper and has decided to build Lingzhi (Reishi) bases extensively. By establishing demonstration farms through site selection and investment, it has built the Huangshan Lingzhi (Reishi) base of 11,500 mu, centered on Jingde and radiating in a fan shape across mountainous counties and villages in southern Anhui, western Anhui, western Zhejiang, eastern Jiangxi and northern Fujian, with an annual total output value exceeding 200 million yuan, benefiting more than 10,000 farming households.
The county's Huangshan Lingzhi (Reishi) Company has adopted the "company + base + farmers" model to vigorously develop the Lingzhi (Reishi) industry, organized activities to "send technology and send knowledge", and held Lingzhi (Reishi) cultivation training courses to further strengthen forest farmers' Lingzhi (Reishi) growing skills and raise their cultivation level; it has invited large Lingzhi (Reishi) growers to talk and exchange experience with forest farmers in general, boosting their enthusiasm for growing Lingzhi (Reishi); and it has repeatedly held meetings in forest areas to provide services for forest farmers, helped them coordinate raw materials, ordered high-quality spawn, and provided services such as Lingzhi (Reishi) cultivation training, technical consultation and household guidance free of charge to Lingzhi (Reishi) growers in all respects, striving to improve the cultivation level of forest farmers. Since the beginning of this year, it has received more than 100 instances of technical consultation and household guidance for forest farmers, and trained 102 Lingzhi (Reishi) growing households. The company has signed protected-price buyback agreements with farmers to help them avoid market risks and increase their enthusiasm for growing Lingzhi (Reishi). In this year's overall environment of falling Lingzhi (Reishi) market prices, the company still purchased Lingzhi (Reishi) from base growers at 60 yuan/kg, higher than the market price, safeguarding the fundamental interests of forest farmers and promoting their income growth.
