Shi Pingyu of Zhouying Group, Huangshi Village, Wuliqiao Town, in the county, after getting rich through his own construction business, also helped more than three hundred people escape poverty and get rich. He also responded to the government's call and planted 3 mu of kiwifruit on his contracted land, earning more than 30,000 yuan each year. As Xixia's tourism grew and expanded, he raised funds to build a family inn in a bustling section of the county town, arranging employment for more than 10 people, earning more than 900,000 yuan over these years. The pig breeding farm founded by Du Zixuan of Yangcheng Village, Yangcheng Township, had by 2009 grown to a scale of 500 head on hand and 1,500 head marketed annually, and obtained pollution-free product origin certification from the Henan Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau, with pigs sold far to Hubei, Shanghai and other places.
