Danzhou City, Hainan agricultural law enforcement team carries out roving publicity activities for agricultural inputs and law in rural areas
(Agricultural Wealth Network) In order to further raise farmers' awareness of the safety of agricultural inputs, promote law-abiding and honest operation among agricultural input production and business units, regulate the order of the agricultural input market, effectively safeguard farmers' rights and interests, and ensure the safety of agricultural production and the quality and safety of agricultural products, the Danzhou City Agricultural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Team has recently launched a two-month roving publicity campaign on agricultural inputs and law in villages across all townships.
Recently, the first publicity activity on agricultural inputs and law in villages kicked off in Lanyang Town. Nearly 500 people participated in the publicity activity, including the Municipal Agriculture Bureau, the Agricultural Law Enforcement Team, the Municipal Agricultural Technology Promotion Center, the Lanyang Town Government, agricultural input production and business enterprises, and members of the public. At the event site, law enforcement team personnel and experts from the agricultural technology center explained methods for identifying counterfeit and inferior agricultural inputs and techniques for the scientific use of agricultural input products, and distributed 3,500 copies of publicity materials such as "Knowledge on the Quality and Safety of Agricultural Input Products," "Scientific Selection and Rational Application of Pesticides," "Seed Law Publicity Leaflet," and "Questions and Answers on Pesticide and Fertilizer Knowledge." This activity was warmly welcomed and praised by the farmers of Lanyang Town.
According to statistics, since the beginning of this year, the Danzhou City Agricultural Law Enforcement Team has distributed to farmers a total of 13,500 leaflets and 4,500 brochures on identifying counterfeit and inferior pesticides, seeds, and fertilizers and on their scientific use.
