(Agricultural Wealth Network) From January to October 2009, Huairou District newly signed and introduced 19 projects (with investment of over 10 million yuan). Among them, 7 were emerging industry projects such as cultural creativity and scientific and technological research and development, accounting for 36.8% of the total signed projects, an increase of 20 percentage points year-on-year.
As of the end of October, Huairou District had 15 projects under construction in producer services and cultural and creative industries, an increase of 9 year-on-year, accounting for 15% of projects under construction, an increase of 11 percentage points year-on-year. This reflects that the cultivation of emerging industries in Huairou District has achieved results and is gradually growing, and will become an effective factor driving economic growth in Huairou District.
