(Agricultural Wealth Network) On November 12, a reporter learned from Wangxinzhuang Town, Pinggu District that at the recently held 16th China Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Achievements Expo, the Beijing Jingpin Yixiang Fruit Production and Marketing Professional Cooperative of Wangxinzhuang Town brought "Jingyan" peaches to the exhibition and signed a supply order worth 300,000 yuan with the Shaanxi farmers' market.
The "Jingyan" peach tree is vigorous, with a semi-spreading tree posture and abundant pollen. The fruit is nearly round, with an average single-fruit weight of 285 grams and a maximum fruit weight of 650 grams. The fruit skin's ground color is yellow-white to green, and it can be fully covered with red to dark red dotted blush. The flesh is white, red near the pit, fine and compact in texture, sweet with aroma, with soluble solids at 12.8%, clingstone, and the harvest period is from the end of August to early September.
It is understood that in recent years, Wangxinzhuang Town has continuously intensified its fruit industry service efforts, carrying out work from multiple angles, in multiple forms and at multiple levels. It has promoted key technologies that improve fruit quality and efficiency, such as high-light-efficiency tree shape improvement, formula fertilization, reflective film laying, and cold and frost protection, accelerated the construction of peach sweetening bases and premium peach demonstration orchards, and established 3 field schools in Yangjiahui, Fangguang and Taihou Village for fruit trees, aquaculture and others, focusing on enhancing the scientific and technological content of the fruit industry and increasing fruit farmers' income.
Up to now, the town has a total of 16 peach sweetening bases and premium peach demonstration orchards, with an area of 8,000 mu, radiating and driving 1,500 peach farmers to achieve an income increase of 8 million yuan through optimized technology. It has built 9 fruit production and marketing cooperatives such as Jingpin Yixiang and Juyuan, with more than 4,000 member households, and a planting area of 12,000 mu for peaches and other fruits. Among them, the Beijing Jingpin Yixiang Fruit Production and Marketing Cooperative has a 4,000-mu supply base, 666 member households, and annual sales revenue of more than 10 million yuan.
