From January to September this year, the county added 88,030 mu of high-efficiency agricultural area, and achieved a per capita cash income for farmers of 5,012 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.

"The settlement of Suqian Weimin Dairy Development Co., Ltd. will certainly have a positive and far-reaching driving effect on the county's dairy cattle breeding industry." At the groundbreaking ceremony of Suqian Weimin Dairy Development Co., Ltd., Wang Juan, deputy county magistrate of Siqian County, said. The Weimin Dairy project was newly invested and built by merchants from Wuxi, with a planned land area of 500 mu. After the company is completed and put into production, its dairy cattle inventory will reach 1,500 head, with an annual output of more than 6,500 tons of fresh milk, an annual output value of 20 million yuan, and 150 jobs provided for Wangji Town.
Since the beginning of this year, Siqian County has persisted in approaching agriculture with the concept of industry, and in accordance with the principle of "attracting large and strong investors," has continuously increased agricultural investment attraction. At present, more than 95% of the county's high-efficiency large-scale agricultural projects are investment-attraction projects, and a number of key enterprises such as Sushi Group and Yurun Group have settled in Siqian one after another. The county implements preferential policies and increases financial support. It has always adhered to an investment and financing mechanism guided by government input and with "three types of capital" input as the main force, actively guiding urban resources and industrial and commercial capital to invest in high-efficiency large-scale agriculture. On the basis of ensuring that more than 40% of agriculture-related funds are invested directly in high-efficiency facility agriculture, last year the county finance department invested another 30 million yuan to implement a "reward instead of subsidy" policy for high-efficiency agricultural projects, attracting 280 million yuan of industrial and commercial and private capital into high-efficiency facility agriculture. As of the end of September, the county had cumulatively introduced 100 agricultural projects, with an investment attraction amount of more than 800 million yuan.
