Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries Research Group Goes to Nanping to Investigate the Operation of Administrative Power
(Agricultural Wealth Network) Recently, Yan Fei, Director of the Policy, Law and Planning Division of the Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, and his delegation went to Nanping to investigate the operation of administrative power. Through discussion sessions, the research group communicated and exchanged views with representatives from the fishery law enforcement agencies of the two-level fishery authorities of Nanping City and Yanping District as well as some representatives of the regulated parties. After fully listening to the implementation status, existing problems and suggestions since the provincial department issued the "Fujian Province Work Manual for Standardizing the Operation of Ocean and Fishery Administrative Power" (trial), the research group affirmed the work done by Nanping City in standardizing the operation of administrative power this year.
It is reported that the fishery authorities of Nanping City started with sorting out the legal basis for fishery law enforcement subjects and enforcement actions, and in accordance with the requirements for relatively centralized law enforcement powers, established a clear law enforcement responsibility system and corresponding supporting accountability system. In a timely manner, in light of the realities of fishery management in mountainous areas and the "Work Manual for Standardizing the Operation of Administrative Power (Trial)" issued by the provincial department, they formulated and issued the "Nanping City Standards for Standardizing Discretion in Fishery Administrative Law Enforcement (Trial)".
