Heshan District Agricultural Machinery Bureau in Hunan: Enhancing Quality Service at the "Window"
(Agricultural Wealth Network)    Recently, more than a dozen farmers from Cangshuipu Town traveled together by vehicle to the Heshan District Agricultural Machinery Bureau, and in less than an hour, they had all completed the subsidy procedures for purchasing submersible pumps. They repeatedly praised the bureau's staff for their good service attitude and high work efficiency. This is evidence of the improvement in work style at the Heshan District Agricultural Machinery Bureau.

At the beginning of the year, guided by the practice of the Scientific Outlook on Development, the Heshan District Agricultural Machinery Bureau launched a quality service activity throughout the entire bureau system and introduced three service windows. The machinery purchase subsidy service window of the Management and Science and Technology Section and the Office ensured that people could be served whenever they arrived. During the peak period in April, 4 work groups were arranged to handle farmers' subsidy machinery purchase applications, setting the highest record of handling more than 1,000 applications continuously in one week, and over the course of the year handled machinery purchase subsidy procedures for more than 4,500 farmers. In October, the district agricultural machinery safety supervision station renovated a brand-new tractor certification hall, and more than 40 tractor drivers successively completed the procedures for tractor registration and driver's license applications in the hall through streamlined processing. The Heshan District Agricultural Machinery School (Heshan Driving School) set up a service hall, where students could complete registration procedures and arrange vehicle training schedules right in the hall. The service windows also implemented service commitment systems such as first-ask responsibility and time-limited completion, and practiced polite language and civilized service, receiving praise from those served and establishing a positive image for the unit.
