Hainan Winter Trade Fair Begins Booth Setup, Website Launched at the Same Time
(Agricultural Wealth Network) There are still more than 30 days to go before the 12th China (Hainan) Tropical Agricultural Products Winter Trade Fair opens, but all preparatory work is already in full swing, and the exhibition halls have begun renovation. Today, the provincial government convened the second preparatory meeting for the Winter Trade Fair. The meeting emphasized that the more solid the orders at the Winter Trade Fair, the better.
Securing orders for agricultural products is the highlight of the preparations for the Winter Trade Fair. Since August, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and various cities and counties have successively sent multiple teams to key inland markets to inspect the markets, invite buyers, and seek orders. At present, the cumulative orders secured by various cities and counties have exceeded 4 million tons, including melons and vegetables, fruits, aquatic products, and processed agricultural products.
The overall booth layout for the main venue of the Winter Trade Fair has already begun. According to reports, this year's comprehensive hall booths are mainly for enterprises, and the number of booths has increased by one third compared with last year. Enterprises are highly enthusiastic about participating in the exhibition, and 70% of the booths have already been subscribed. Of the 354 stalls in the outdoor sales area, 217 have already been subscribed, and the remaining stalls are reserved for group exhibitors from outside the province for display and sales. Enterprises have been very active in applying for this year's trade fair, making it the session with the largest number of participating enterprises in history.
