Shaanxi Ganquan's "one township, one specialty" industry development is in full swing
Shaanxi Ganquan puts on a great show of "one township, one specialty" industry development
(Agricultural Wealth Network) Ganquan County has vigorously expanded the large-scale development path of "one township, one specialty," and has already established specialty industries including cucumbers in Chengguan Township, peppers in Gaoshao Township, cherry tomatoes in Donggou Township, oriental melons in Daozhen, and chicken farming in Laoshan Township. Whatever out-of-town buyers need, they head straight there and return with a full load.
Ganquan County has consistently treated expanding scale, adjusting structure, and developing "one village, one product; one township, one specialty" as the primary task of vegetable and livestock industry construction. Following the principles of "market guidance, leading enterprise driven, policy incentives, and technological support," and on the basis of further consolidating the results of specialized village construction, it has earnestly implemented the "ten-village demonstration, hundred-village advancement" project, comprehensively promoted pollution-free standardized production technology, and achieved an all-around improvement in the quality and efficiency of the leading agricultural industries.
In Gaoshao Township, Ganquan County, the entire township has 1246 vegetable greenhouses, and 1124 of them are filled with peppers. On the roads of Gaoshao Township, farmers can be seen from time to time driving three-wheeled carts loaded with peppers to collection points, and the average annual pepper income per greenhouse has reached more than 10,000 yuan. In Anjiaping Village, Chengguan Township, Zhou Wanli, who began greenhouse planting back in 1992, said that greenhouse planting in Ganquan started early, but in the past there were certain limitations in scale, quality, and efficiency. Since the county successively introduced a series of preferential agricultural policies, farmers' enthusiasm for greenhouse planting was suddenly ignited. Last year, all of Anjiaping Village planted cucumbers, every greenhouse earned tens of thousands, and some earned more than 40,000 yuan.
