From January to September, the transfer income in cash of farmers and herders in Golmud City was 270 yuan, driving a per capita cash income increase of 221 yuan, up 450%. According to incomplete statistics, in the first three quarters Golmud City distributed a cumulative total of 2.09 million yuan in various subsidies, including direct subsidies for grain-growing farmers, comprehensive subsidies for means of production, subsidies for agricultural machinery and tools, and subsidies for reservoir resettlement. The substantial increase in transfer income became the biggest highlight of rural residents' income growth in Golmud City this year.
