Rural informatization work in Chongming County continues to advance

With the completion of the construction of the three-level government affairs network spanning the county, town and village levels and the informatization service application system, 343 village (neighborhood) committees in Chongming County, Shanghai have been connected to the government affairs network. To gain a deeper understanding of the current practical application of rural informatization work in Chongming County, on November 5, the Chongming County Science and Technology Commission organized a symposium for village-level information maintenance personnel of the Chongming County government affairs network.

The village-level information maintenance personnel exchanged views and held discussions on issues such as the current operation and maintenance work of the village-level government affairs network, the effectiveness of advancing village-level informatization projects, the town and village informatization organizational support system, and network relocation, and they summarized experience and learned from one another. The county Science and Technology Commission will, in accordance with Chongming's actual circumstances, continuously improve and refine rural informatization work in response to the opinions and suggestions raised by the village-level information maintenance personnel, so that the informatization project truly becomes a booster for new rural construction.
