Xinhua News Agency donates distance education equipment to Sinan

On November 6, the sixth batch of the Xinhua News Agency poverty alleviation work team stationed in Sinan County presented 156 sets of distance education equipment with a total value of 310,000 yuan to 22 units including the Sinan County Distance Education Center, the Party and Vocational School, and Huafeng Fruit and Vegetable Professional Cooperative.

It is understood that the sixth batch of the poverty alleviation work team focused on intellectual poverty alleviation and educational poverty alleviation for Sinan County, and based on the county's economic development and agricultural industrial structure adjustment, actively explored and developed new functions of distance education, continuously optimizing the configuration of distance education equipment so that the broad rural masses could master newer and more information technology.

The poverty alleviation work team raised 310,000 yuan through multiple channels and purchased 156 units (sets) of distance education equipment, including computers, projectors, digital cameras, and antenna receiving systems, donating them to 22 units such as the Sinan County Party and Vocational School. In addition, they also helped the local area establish 3 rural professional technical cooperatives under the "distance education + new economic organization" model.
