According to a report on the website of the Communist Party of Vietnam's e-newspaper on the 10th, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers said that in recent months, Vietnam's mackerel exports to Canada have surged.
Data shows that in October of this year, Vietnam's mackerel export volume to Canada reached 380,000 tons, with an average price of 8 USD/kg. According to statistics, for several consecutive months since June of this year, both the volume and value of Vietnam's mackerel exports to Canada have grown by double digits or more.
Currently, Vietnam's major mackerel exporters include Hai Long, Foodtech, Havuco, Seasimex, Alphasea, Highland and Dragon, among others.
