Philippines to Hold Third Rice Tender for Next Year

According to the National Food Authority of the Philippines on Monday, the National Food Authority will hold a tender on December 8 to seek 600,000 tons of rice; the National Food Authority currently has a budget of 15.26 billion pesos, about 327 million US dollars. The National Food Authority is seeking 25% broken rice, and suppliers can be Thailand, Vietnam, China, Pakistan, Australia, India and the United States. The arrival date for the rice is set for February to May next year.
