Vietnam's exports of four agricultural, forestry and fishery products surpass one billion US dollars
According to a recent report by Vietnam Economic Times online, statistics from the Information Center of the Ministry of Industry and Trade show that in the first 10 months Vietnam's exports of agricultural, forestry and fishery products reached 13 billion US dollars, accounting for 28% of Vietnam's total exports, higher than 27.4% last year. Overall, the decline in exports of agricultural, forestry and fishery products was smaller than the decline in national exports. In the first 10 months, among Vietnam's 24 major export products, only 6 products saw year-on-year growth in export value, and agricultural, forestry and fishery products accounted for 4 of them, namely fruits and vegetables, tea, pepper, cassava and its products. In particular, among products with exports exceeding 1 billion US dollars, agricultural, forestry and fishery products took four places, among which fishery products reached 3.5 billion US dollars in exports; rice 2.4 billion US dollars; wood and its products 2 billion US dollars; coffee 1.4 billion US dollars.
