US October soybean crush rises to 155.262 million bushels
According to the National Oilseed Processors Association, the US soybean crush in October this year was 155.262 million bushels, higher than 107.379 million bushels in September and also above analysts' forecast of 139.1 million bushels.
The new soybean harvest came onto the market, improving the supply of soybeans for oil use, thereby accelerating the pace of soybean crushing in October, while soybean crushing margins were also good.
At the end of October, US soybean oil stocks stood at 2.286 billion pounds, higher than 2.261 billion pounds at the end of September and also above analysts' forecast of 2.248 billion pounds.
