Integrity is gold - China's first agricultural product integrity evaluation platform relaunches after a full redesign

The platform for China's first agricultural product e-commerce integrity evaluation system - Integrity New Farmers and Traders - built by the China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) under the Ministry of Commerce, completed a full redesign and relaunch on August 15, 2011, and was officially renamed "Integrity Farmers and Traders Network" (www.xns315.com).

It is reported that at the end of last year, the platform was the first in the country to launch an e-commerce integrity evaluation system for agricultural product trading entities - the New Farmers and Traders Index - encouraging agriculture-related enterprises to operate with integrity, aiming to shape and promote honest traders and honest products, and to create a more trustworthy agricultural product trading environment. The platform now has more than 230,000 member users and has become one of China's largest databases of agriculture-related businesses.

The new version of the Integrity Farmers and Traders Network inherits the informatization advantages of a national-level platform, and has comprehensively upgraded its overall column structure, page presentation, functional processes and service content. It achieves rapid publication of information such as the latest agricultural developments and prospering through science and technology, and has created a series of service products tailored to the circulation links of agriculture-related products, including "Farmers and Traders Treasure, Certificate Issuance, Farmers and Traders Show, Farmers and Traders Report," to promote the purchase and sale of agricultural products. It will adopt a combination of online and offline methods to provide more comprehensive and considerate services to China's rural specialized cooperatives, agriculture-related enterprises, rural brokers, and large-scale growers and breeders.

In the next step, the platform will further highlight "integrity," a theme of the times with industry norms, starting from the production links of agricultural product cultivation and breeding, focusing on food safety, and continuing to plan and develop agriculture-related service products, to sustain momentum for promoting the standardized circulation and development of agricultural products.
