Filling pots with organic matter, pulling seedlings for transplanting, then placing the flower pots onto the cultivation beds and sending them into the greenhouse... this whole series of farm tasks that previously had to be done by hand by farmers is now entirely handed over to robots. For the whole transplanting process, only 1-2 people are needed to operate the computer, and the efficiency exceeds that of 100 workers. This is the "Agricultural 4.0" of Changzhou Jialv Orchard Gardening Co., Ltd., which uses IoT information technology to make production management modern, digital and intelligent.

Dutch tomatoes grown to European standards bear abundant fruit

Changzhou Jialv Orchard Gardening Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive agricultural technology company integrating research, promotion, seedling cultivation and sales of flowers and vegetables. Since 2013, the company has invested more than 200 million yuan and gradually built the "Lianglv Agricultural Park" plant factory. Today, apart from crops being cultivated by robots instead of people, field management such as fertilizing and watering has also become fully automated, and even the control of temperature, humidity and light in the greenhouse requires only a few taps on a computer.

Watering and fertilizing: the unmanned "workshop" is controlled by computer 24 hours a day

The company also introduced a tide-style IoT irrigation system from the Netherlands, using collected rainwater for irrigation after filtration, disinfection, UV sterilization and other measures. A computer controls the irrigation time, irrigation water volume, fertilizer concentration (pH value and EC value) and so on for each area; after irrigation, 100% of the remaining nutrient water on the seedling beds is recovered and recycled.

Robot transplanting is "more, faster, better and more economical"

Ji Xiaoliang, chairman of the company, told reporters that the vegetables and flowers produced in the factory are all cultivated to European standards using pure natural organic matter, and the products are increasingly favored by consumers. Their full-process intelligent control cultivation technology is at the forefront in China, and not long ago it was even featured on CCTV's "Xinwen Lianbo."
