2012 Second Southwest Water-Saving Irrigation and Greenhouse Technology Exhibition

   WSIGE 2012 is the largest and most influential annual industry event in China's water-saving irrigation and greenhouse sector. This year's exhibition is expected to cover an exhibition area of 10,000 sq m, with 200 participating companies and 30,000 professional visitors. [Exhibition Overview]
The 2012 No. 1 Central Document clearly proposed persistently strengthening farmland water conservancy construction, accelerating water source project construction, and vigorously promoting new technologies and new equipment for high-efficiency water-saving irrigation, and proposed expanding the scope of equipment purchase subsidies and the scale of loan interest subsidies, and improving tax preferential policies for water-saving irrigation equipment. According to the "Twelfth Five-Year" plan for water-saving irrigation, during the "Twelfth Five-Year" period, the whole country will strive to add 100 million mu of high-efficiency water-saving irrigation area, and the total investment in the national water-saving irrigation market is expected to reach 100 billion yuan to 150 billion yuan. By 2020, the area of water-saving irrigation projects will reach 760 million mu.

WSIGE 2011 was held on September 16-17 at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition attracted more than 100 water-saving irrigation and greenhouse facility enterprises to exhibit, and during the exhibition received 23,000 professional visitors from Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Gansu, Guangxi and other places.
