Why soilless strawberries grown without pesticides are more nutritious

On April 3, in the Lvsheng organic ecological soilless strawberry greenhouse garden in Niuwangmiao Village, Dianzhuang Town, Yibin District, Luoyang City, villagers were picking strawberries.
Last October, the town introduced organic ecological soilless strawberry cultivation technology, and after trial planting it has now succeeded. These strawberries, cultivated in a nutrient substrate composed of cow dung, chicken manure, sawdust, mushroom residue and furnace slag, are not harmed by pests or diseases, require no pesticide spraying, and are rich in nutrients, making them deeply loved by residents.
Implementing protected soilless cultivation of strawberries has incomparable advantages over soil cultivation in overcoming soil-borne pests and diseases and continuous cropping obstacles, reducing pesticide dosage, and producing pollution-free fruit, and can greatly increase the marketable rate of strawberry fruit, achieving high yield, high quality and high efficiency.
