Free-range chicken lays rare giant egg
A few days ago, a chicken hatched this year in Yilongyong Village, Naiman Banner, Tongliao City, laid a 190-gram "giant egg", causing a stir among the whole village and becoming a hot topic of conversation among the villagers.

At the home of Feng Yuguang, a villager in Yilongyong Village, Yilongyong Town, the author saw this "giant egg". Placed on an electronic scale, the "giant egg" weighed exactly the same as 3 ordinary eggs; the "giant egg" weighed 190 grams, while an ordinary egg of 60 grams already counts as rather large. According to Zhang Guixia, the mistress of the eggs, she keeps more than ten chickens hatched this year, and this "giant egg" was laid 5 days ago; she is not clear which chicken laid it, but it was certainly one of them. She said this was already the third time a relatively large egg had been laid; the first two times she had also picked up two relatively heavy eggs, each about as big as a goose egg, and the third one was this 190-gram egg. They had not fed these hens any special supplements, and the raising method was simply free-range chickens as usual. (Hou Xianfeng)
