Changde is a major production area for the Chinese softshell turtle (Pelodiscus sinensis). How to imitate the natural ecology so that the turtles grow slowly, retain their wild nature during growth, and taste like wild game? It is understood that Hezhou soft-shelled turtles feed mainly on fish and shrimp, with ecological fruits and melons from the base as supplementary food, always keeping the turtles in a half-full state, prompting them to forage while moving about, making them full of wild nature and their meat tender and fresh. Good quality requires a good brand, and also good promotion, so that more people can share it. At present, Hezhou soft-shelled turtles are sold to 23 provinces (municipalities) across the country, and 2 brand stores have been opened in the urban area of Changde, with annual sales of more than 50 million yuan.
