Growing green ecological vegetables, Fu Xuehong fulfills his dream of prosperity

Fu Xuehong, a villager of Jiashan Village, Eling Subdistrict, Yinjiang Autonomous County, transferred 40 mu of land to develop green ecological vegetable cultivation of celtuce, cowpea, cucumber, chili and others. The annual output value reaches more than 200,000 yuan, and he has realized his dream of prosperity.
A few days ago, the author walked into Fu Xuehong's vegetable planting base in Manbao Village, Zhongxing Subdistrict, and saw him busy tending the green vegetable seedlings in the field. In 2012, Fu Xuehong took advantage of Manbao Village's high-altitude cold climate and geographical advantages to develop green pollution-free vegetables. After three years of study and practice, he worked out a set of vegetable growing techniques suited to the local climate, developing from a single variety at the beginning to more than 10 varieties today, mainly celtuce, cucumber, chili, tomato, kidney bean and others. In recent years, he has seized the seasonal time gap in the vegetable market: what others do not have for sale, he has. Because he uses farmyard manure for cultivation, his vegetables are deeply loved by consumers and enjoy a good sales market. In his vegetable field there are always more than 10 people helping with the work.
"My pollution-free green vegetables are very popular in the market, with gross annual income of around 200,000 yuan, and at the same time they have provided jobs for more than 10 local people," said Fu Xuehong, a large vegetable grower.
