This is how a Shandong daughter-in-law's lingzhi mushroom plantation was built

On the morning of July 17, the picking festival of the Hengshui Jingzhiyuan Lingzhi Planting Professional Cooperative opened in Renjiakeng Village, Damasen Township, Industrial New District, Hengshui, Hebei. Gao Yongfeng, Party Secretary of Damasen Township, and Zhang Guowei, head of the Hengshui Jingzhiyuan Lingzhi Planting Professional Cooperative, attended the opening ceremony.
At the ceremony, Meng Shuangmei and others from the Hengshui Caring Squad carefully prepared programs such as drumming and dancing for the on-site performance. The thunderous drumming and the dance "Blessing the Motherland" were magnificent and attracted many people to stop and watch. The host's witty and humorous hosting style, plus an imitation performance of Andy Lau's famous work "Providence," drew applause and praise from the audience, adding a festive atmosphere to the lingzhi picking festival.
Walking into the lingzhi trial planting greenhouse, one could see fresh lingzhi emerging from the tops of neatly arranged mushroom bags, like flower umbrellas "edged" in white, and the air gave off waves of the fresh fragrance of mushrooms. Inside the greenhouse, lingzhi of different sizes and countless forms emerged from bag after bag of "spawn," growing vigorously. A steady stream of people came here to view and pick lingzhi. According to Zhang Guowei, the "spawn" bags needed for growing lingzhi were all transported from the lingzhi-producing area of her hometown in Shandong. As long as there is a suitable humidity and temperature environment, they can grow well. She had to work every day in a greenhouse with temperatures as high as 40°C, like taking a sauna. When to ventilate, when to cool down by spraying water, and when to let in light - every planting detail had to be kept firmly in mind. In addition, the cultivation of lingzhi bonsai needs to be carried out in a strictly disinfected and sterile environment, and the combined grafting technique is highly demanding. Only by being meticulous and striving for perfection can lingzhi bonsai with impressive forms be cultivated.
Gao Yongfeng, Party Secretary of Damasen Township, congratulated Zhang Guowei on successfully developing the lingzhi ornamental bonsai cultivation technique. He said that the successful development of this project filled the gap in lingzhi ornamental bonsai cultivation technology in the whole city, integrated the medicinal and edible value of lingzhi with its ornamental and artistic value, and greatly promoted the development of the rural regional economy. He hoped that Zhang Guowei would further expand and strengthen lingzhi cultivation technology and lead more farmers to learn new techniques and get rich together.
Zhang Guowei is 33 years old this year. She married into Renkeng Village from Liaocheng, Shandong. Relying on her planting experience at her parents' home, she boldly innovated and built the province's first large-scale lingzhi bonsai planting base in Renkeng Village. Zhang Guowei introduced that lingzhi is a kind of plant in the Polyporaceae family, known as the "thousand-year immortal herb," and has always given people an impression of nobility and mystery. In recent years, lingzhi bonsai, as a new thing, has become popular in markets across the country and even overseas, becoming a "fairy herb" for many farmers to get rich. The lingzhi they planted includes red lingzhi and lingzhi grass, which began to be cultivated in March this year and were divided into 4 small greenhouses in total: 3 small greenhouses for planting red lingzhi and 1 small greenhouse for planting lingzhi grass, with an average of 1,000 plants in each greenhouse. Up to now they have basically taken shape, and after about another half a year they can grow into finished products. Near the maturity period, lingzhi will release lingzhi spore powder. Spore powder is the seed of lingzhi, and only after processing can new lingzhi spawn be cultivated. At the same time, the efficacy of lingzhi spore powder is also several times that of lingzhi.
