Wang Aijun, 41 years old this year, is an ordinary Communist Party member in Dongwan Village, Ruiyunguan Township, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City.
After graduating from Zhangjiakou Teachers College in Hebei Province in 1999, he voluntarily gave up the state job assignment and resolutely chose to return to his village to start his own business. Choosing to start his own business after graduation
After graduating from university in 1999, faced with the rare opportunity of the last year of state job assignment and the bright prospect of being able to stay in the city for development, Wang Aijun resolutely made the choice to start his own business. At that time, with no source of funds, Wang Aijun borrowed 5,000 yuan from his uncle and bought 14 piglets from the market, beginning his career of raising pigs.
April 12, 2000 was an unforgettable day for Wang Aijun. That day, the 14 pigs he had raised were ready for market, and not only did he fail to make money, he actually lost 1,400 yuan.
Driving more than 300 households across the county to raise pigs
After borrowing 10,000 yuan from a friend, Wang Aijun regrouped and began his second pig-raising venture.
In order to master a scientific pig-raising process, before raising pigs Wang Aijun subscribed to a large number of magazines and carried out all-round study. By the end of 2000, as soon as the pigs were ready for market, he made a net profit of more than 8,000 yuan, and he finally achieved success.
Starting in 2001, Wang Aijun began helping the villagers develop the pig-raising industry together, and he also became the pig-raising expert the farmers trusted most.
Wang Aijun now owns 5 companies, radiating and driving more than 300 households in 17 townships across the county to develop pig farming. The company base sells more than 20,000 pigs for market each year, with direct economic benefits reaching more than 10 million yuan, effectively driving and promoting the healthy development of the county's pig farming industry.
