The orchard is laden with fruit awaiting harvest, and the fruit farmers are busy working hard to get rich

Recently, in the orchard of fruit farmers Wu Zening and Ye Renjie in Lingjiao Village, Tangtou Township, golden honey pomelos hang all over the branches of the fruit trees across the hillsides.
Wu Zening and Ye Renjie are well-known fruit farmers in Lingjiao Village, Tangtou Township. Seven years ago, the two brothers introduced Pinghe honey pomelos and Tantian honey pomelos. After years of scientific planting and optimized management, every golden autumn the fruit is fragrant and there is a scene of abundant harvest. The fruit trees laden with honey pomelos have become the brothers' trees of hard work and prosperity.
Wu Zening introduced that his honey pomelos have three varieties: yellow pomelo, red-heart pomelo, and double-red pomelo. The highest yield of a single tree can reach 255 jin, and his household alone is expected to harvest more than 100,000 jin of honey pomelos. It is hard to imagine that for this nearly 100-mu scene of abundant harvest, whether it is the upcoming picking and carrying, or the earlier weeding and spraying, no one knows how much effort was spent.
Ye Renjie (right) introduces to staff of Fujian Miracle Biotechnology that after using organic fertilizer, the Tantian honey pomelo has begun to show results.
"Because labor costs are too high, we are reluctant to hire workers, so the husband and wife manage it ourselves. Fertilizer must be applied three or four times a year, and we weed once a month," Wu Zening said. Seeing the pomelos ripening, customers coming one after another to negotiate, and many tourists coming to pick them, their diligent efforts have finally paid off, and their hearts are truly blooming with joy.
His younger brother Ye Renjie, who also grows honey pomelos, has a fruit harvest comparable to his brother's, but unlike his brother's more traditional planting model, Ye Renjie boldly tried organic agriculture and applied enzyme organic fertilizer for the first time to improve fruit quality and increase yield. Now it seems that Ye Renjie's attempt has begun to show results. Before the Tantian honey pomelo has turned from green to red, the flesh is already clear, sweet, and edible, and when ripe it is even more fragrant and delicious.
"In the past, fruit as green as this would be a bit sour. With organic fertilizer, the leaves are large and thick, and the fruit is also larger. Because the fruit trees are not lacking any elements, the fruit has become relatively sweeter," Ye Renjie said.
It is understood that the brothers of Wu Zening's family have become typical households of hard work and prosperity in Tangtou Township, growing about 200 mu of honey pomelos in total. The fruit is large, thin-skinned, sweet, and juicy, with good sales, bringing each household an income of about 200,000 yuan per year. With their diligent hands, they have turned one fruit tree after another into "money trees," interpreting the prosperous life of the most beautiful farmers.
