Young chicken farmer from a mountain village becomes a leader in getting rich

In Moluo Village, Erlang Township, our county, there is a widely known "Chicken King." He built his business from nothing, spending 10 years developing the chicken farming industry, and created an enterprise with annual sales of more than 8 million yuan. Local people call him "Manager Chicken." While growing wealthy himself, he did not forget his hometown, leading local residents to develop the chicken farming industry and walk the road to prosperity together. He is Zhao Fuhua, who this year was named both a National Model Worker and an Advanced Individual in Province-wide Targeted Poverty Alleviation.

Zhao Fuhua is from Dangba Village, Sangmu Town. Ten years ago, due to family hardship, he gave up his studies and went out to work, and during that time he learned chicken hatching techniques and chick brooding techniques. In the ten years since returning home to start his business, his chicken farming industry has continued to grow and strengthen, and he established a specialized breeding cooperative, driving villagers to develop breeding.

Han Tianqiang, a villager from Tuhe Village, Sangmu Town, was among the first group of farmers to develop breeding when Zhao Fuhua returned home to start his business. Over the past 5 years, with Zhao Fuhua's help, he has become a major chicken farmer locally.

With funds and technology, Han Tianqiang also built a cattle farm and a sheep farm around the chicken farm, forming a diversified breeding development model, with annual income exceeding 100,000 yuan. Today, he has also driven nearby villagers to develop breeding.

With Zhao Fuhua's guidance and help, many local young people who had gone out to work also began returning home to learn chicken farming techniques from him and start their own businesses. Liu Zhidang, a villager from Tongjuan Village, Sangmu Town, is one of them.

During interviews, reporters learned that over the past ten years, Zhao Fuhua has helped 30,000 farming households master hatching and brooding techniques, and has supported and helped hundreds of migrant workers return home to start businesses. He has also received honorary titles including Outstanding Communist Party Member of the county, Advanced Individual in Science and Technology Breeding of the city, and Provincial Model Worker, and this year was named a National Model Worker by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and an Advanced Individual in Province-wide Targeted Poverty Alleviation by the provincial government.

Zhao Fuhua was honored as a National Model Worker and an Advanced Individual in Province-wide Targeted Poverty Alleviation. He plans to next expand the scale of the cooperative's chicken farming, lead and help more impoverished farming households, and through the cooperative's last-mile services before, during, and after production, resolve farmers' worries and let them walk the road to prosperity through chicken farming.
