Chiping, Shandong: Cheng Dianming and His Wife's Flower-Growing Business Spreads Fragrance

On November 3, 2015, in the chrysanthemum greenhouse tended by Cheng Dianming and Zhang Yuhua, a couple in Chengzhuang Village, Boping Town, Chiping County, Shandong Province, more than 40 kinds of chrysanthemums were blooming in competition under the couple's careful cultivation. The bright, pure white, dark green and pink chrysanthemums gave off an alluring fragrance, bees gathered nectar among the flower centers, and people standing amid the brilliant blossoms felt as if they were in a fairyland. This year, more than 10 newly introduced and grafted rare chrysanthemum varieties in their 3-mu chrysanthemum garden, including Lvbo, Jingui, Tengyun and Yuhong, became new favorites on the market, and sales of the chrysanthemums in the garden were already nearing the end.
