On November 10, Wang Zhifen's seafood online store, riding the popularity of "Double 11," received nearly 20 boxes of assorted seafood orders online. The 53-year-old Wang Zhifen is a villager of Zhangzhou Fishing Village in Zhujiajian Subdistrict, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, where the villagers all go out to sea to fish. Since September last year, with her daughter's help, she began running an online store and WeChat business, selling seafood products via mobile phone and the internet, including more than 20 kinds of seafood such as chilled fresh, frozen, live fresh and dried aquatic products, with the farthest order coming from Sichuan. She has now mastered the entire online shopping process, including photographing and uploading products, purchasing seafood, sorting and packing, and mailing, and has her own seafood brand "Ding Ma Jia." During this year's "Double 11" period, she also launched a buy-and-get-a-gift promotion to attract customers, riding the "Double 11" online shopping wave.
