**Farmer Wang Wenjie of Er'gong Town, Jimsar County, Embarks on the Entrepreneurial Path of Pigeon Farming

Because he loves raising pigeons and immerses himself in them every day, Wang Wenjie, a farmer from Bahu Village, Er'gong Town, Jimsar County, has set out on the entrepreneurial path of pigeon farming.

Over the past 6 years, Wang Wenjie has raised more than 8,000 pigeons of over 30 varieties, including meat pigeons, fancy pigeons, and peacock pigeons, becoming the largest specialized pigeon farmer in Jimsar County. Pigeon meat, pigeon eggs, and pigeon manure have all become his profit-making treasures. Last year, he established a cooperative, hired 6 farmers to work for him, and actively taught pigeon-raising techniques to the villagers.

Wang Wenjie said that the pigeon market is currently in short supply, and no matter how many he raises, they can all be sold. This year, his net profit is expected to reach 300,000 yuan.
