Yangfeng Super Rice Special Fertilizer Officially Selected for Fertilizer Efficiency Trial
The National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center conducted a fertilizer efficiency trial at its headquarters base in Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, selecting 5 well-known brand fertilizers including Yangfeng Super Rice Special Fertilizer for a comparative planting trial. Under identical planting conditions, planting area, crop variety (Chaoyou Qianhao), fertilization periods and fertilizer amounts, in 18 plots of equal area and plant count, each of the 5 fertilizers was applied to 3 plots, with another 3 plots left unfertilized for comparison, each plot measuring 30 sq m, setting up a "contest" to determine superiority. On October 13, manual harvesting and on-site weighing were carried out, and before harvesting on October 12, 3 plants were taken from each plot for yield component examination. Yangfeng Super Rice Special Fertilizer ranked first in fertilizer efficiency.

Led by Yuan Longping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center conducted this trial with the aim of increasing the yield of the super hybrid rice "Chaoyou Qianhao," verifying the yield-increasing effects of the 5 fertilizers, and screening fertilizer variety types suitable for the growth and development characteristics of super hybrid rice. The 5 fertilizers selected by the center had the same total amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, with any shortfall made up by adjusting the application amount. Information about which fertilizer was applied to which plot was kept confidential, registered and recorded by number, managed by dedicated personnel, and the corresponding fertilizer names were announced after on-site harvesting and weighing, with yield as the main evaluation indicator. Through the trial, Yangfeng Super Rice Special Compound Fertilizer showed the greatest improvement in rice yield potential, specifically manifested in the most significant increase in effective panicles and improvement in seed-setting rate, the two yield component factors.
