Dengta City Yujie Farmers' Professional Cooperative was established in January 2009. It is a mutual-aid economic organization that takes serving the cooperative as its purpose, focuses on the processing and sales of pollution-free and green food rice, and seeks the common interests of all members. In the early days after the cooperative was established, not many farming households joined. Sometimes the cooperative had orders in spring, but few farmers were willing to grow the rice varieties specified in the orders. Chen Jie was not intimidated by the difficulties. She often went door to door to do work, explaining to them the pros and cons of growing contract rice and mobilizing farmers to grow it. Through Chen Jie's efforts, more and more farming households joined the cooperative. The business scope of Dengta City Yujie Farmers' Professional Cooperative also expanded from the initial rice cultivation to a structure jointly operating vegetable cultivation and rice cultivation, and Chen Jie gained recognition from more farmers.

Now, Dengta City Yujie Farmers' Professional Cooperative adopts the business model of "cooperative + base + farming households" and follows the "five unified" principle of "unified seedling raising, unified agricultural materials, unified pesticide use, unified varieties, and unified management" to establish standardized bases. Chen Jie trains farming households on agricultural science and technology knowledge from time to time and strictly implements the requirements for green product production in growing vegetables and rice.

Since 2009, the cooperative has also successively won the honorary title of advanced unit in Liaoyang City for "valuing contracts and keeping promises." The "Dengjie" brand pollution-free rice grown by the cooperative has successively won the Liaoning Province Famous and Excellent Product Award.

At present, under the leadership of cooperative chairman Chen Jie, the cooperative has grown from the original 16 households to 328 households, and its funds have increased from the original 170,000 to more than 8 million, with its own brand and 2,000 mu of pollution-free rice certification. Chen Jie registered the "Dengjie" brand trademark in 2010, and the products have been recognized by users. Chen Jie said that in the future she will continue to work hard, taking innovating the business model, strengthening the product brand, and enhancing strength as her development goals, seeking the common interests of all members, and promoting faster, better, healthy and sustainable development of the cooperative.
