Taiwan, China daughter-in-law Lin Cuihua uses the company plus farmers model to lead Fujian folks to prosperity

Lin Cuihua and technicians from the Agriculture Bureau inspect the growth of Dendrobium officinale.
On the 4th, at Shishan Village, Zhayang Township, Zherong County, inside the planting greenhouse of Fujian Jinglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. in the thousand-mu high-quality agricultural demonstration park, Taiwan, China daughter-in-law Lin Cuihua was leading more than a dozen farmers in planting Dendrobium officinale. "The weather has been fine these days, and we have replanted more than 100 mu of Dendrobium officinale, hoping to recover some of the losses," Lin Cuihua said.
In 2002, Lin Cuihua married from Zherong to Taiwan, China and struggled in business with her husband. In January 2012, she returned to her parents' home to visit relatives, and the pristine mountains and rivers of her hometown captivated her. Upon learning that the county planned to build a thousand-mu high-quality agricultural demonstration park in Shishan Village, after conducting market research, Lin Cuihua decided to stay and develop her business.
In May 2012, Lin Cuihua established Fujian Jinglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., mainly cultivating and researching medicinal and edible flowers, modern new flower varieties, urban landscaping seedlings, and rare high-quality seedling breeding. Over the past few years, the company has invested a total of more than 30 million yuan.
Using the "company plus farmers" model, Lin Cuihua fully leverages the respective advantages of the company and farmers, driving farmers to increase income and achieve mutual benefit. Under Lin Cuihua's leadership, more than 300 nearby villagers have found employment nearby, with per capita income increasing by 1,300 yuan last year.
In August this year, Typhoon Soudelor caused heavy losses to the base of Fujian Jinglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., with damaged area reaching 370 mu. 1.5 million clumps of well-growing Dendrobium officinale about to be sold were soaked and washed away by accumulated water. Other precious seedlings, including Paris polyphylla, improved variety oil tea seedlings, crape myrtle, and E'xi Ormosia hosiei, were also affected, with huge losses. Three years of effort were ruined just like that, and Lin Cuihua was too devastated to cry.
When trouble occurs at one spot, help comes from all quarters. The Zherong County Party Committee and County Government, the County Agriculture Bureau, and the County Forestry Bureau extended a helping hand to Lin Cuihua. The County Agriculture Bureau dispatched professional technicians to the enterprise to guide post-disaster self-rescue, sorted out the urgent problems the enterprise needed to solve, helped the enterprise seek facility agriculture subsidies from the Provincial Department of Agriculture, and organized discipline inspection staff to specially supervise the matter, supporting the Taiwan, China businessman through the difficult period.
Lin Cuihua said: "The relevant departments have helped so much, which moves me deeply. Now the company continues to transfer land from villagers, and by the end of the year the base can expand by another 200 mu."
Although the solar term has already entered winter, for Lin Cuihua, this is a warm winter full of sunshine.
