After returning from his studies, he invested more than 40,000 yuan, purchased 2 groups of breeding peafowl from Nanchang (one group being 1 male and 4 females) and one electronic peafowl egg incubator, and set up a blue peafowl farm in his home, raising them for 4 years.

Its beautiful feathers and form can be enjoyed by people, especially when the peafowl spreads its tail, resembling the legendary phoenix, with its feathers glittering in colorful splendor in the sunlight. Their breeding peafowl are sold respectively to places including Gaozaizi in Ningqiang, Hantai District in Hanzhong City, and Xieshui Town in Nanzheng. His next plan is to expand the peafowl farm and, at the same time, transform the original household farming type into an ecological farming type. A relevant person in charge of the Mianxian Forestry Bureau said that blue peafowl farming is the best project for under-forest industry. At present, the blue peafowl farming operation in Yujiagou Village, Xinpu Town, is one of the larger ones in Hanzhong City, but the infrastructure still needs improvement.
