On December 17, fishing opened on Saicheng Lake in Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, which has 60,000 mu of water surface. The 50,000 kg of fresh fish caught that day were snapped up by merchants from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Jiangxi and other places.

According to local fishermen, thanks to sufficient rain this year, the fresh fish output of Saicheng Lake is higher than in previous years, and the output is expected to reach 1.3 million kg.
