In recent years, Dianzhuang Village, Beixinliu Township, Yongqing County, Hebei Province, has introduced Dutch bumblebees to pollinate greenhouse vegetables, solving the winter pollination problem for greenhouse vegetables such as tomatoes and eggplants. It is understood that fruits and vegetables pollinated by bumblebees have the advantages of increased production and income, reduced disease, fewer deformed fruits, and a high fruit-setting rate, with a yield increase of about 20% per unit area.
