Recently, Chen Xiaohua, Chairwoman of the Leizhou Women's Federation, and Chen Lixia, Vice Chairwoman, led a delegation to Fucheng Town, Jijia Town and other places to conduct research, making on-site visits and inspections to learn about the development projects and family living conditions of potential applicants.
In Yingshan Village, Fucheng Town, Leizhou, a vast expanse of white stretches as far as the eye can see. Here is Chen Yuan's large pollution-free melon and vegetable greenhouse planting base. Chen Xiaohua praised Chen Yuan's practices of returning home to start a business, building a pollution-free three-dimensional planting base, and independently opening up sales channels. When she learned that Chen Yuan intended to establish a large-scale comprehensive agricultural company and vigorously develop contract farming, but encountered difficulties such as insufficient planting technology and lack of funds for expansion, she said the Women's Federation would give strong support and do its best to help him solve the difficulties encountered in development.
Melon farmers beaming with joy
On the afternoon of the same day, Chen Xiaohua and her delegation came to Yinlv Family Farm in Wanzai Village, Jijia Town, Leizhou for inspection and research. The farm is mainly funded jointly by the parents and three siblings, and is managed and operated by the youngest sister and her husband. The farm, covering more than 1,000 mu, has a good development momentum, but also has problems such as large investment in planting technology, slow returns, and severe impact from natural disasters. Chen Xiaohua hopes the farm owner can contact the agricultural authorities more and obtain corresponding help and support from the government.
Chen Xiaohua said that after this visit and inspection, a systematic screening would be carried out, and coordination with the Municipal Rural Credit Cooperative Union on entrepreneurship guarantee loans and other matters would be strengthened, to strive for more financial support for impoverished entrepreneurial farming households, organically combine government entrepreneurial resources with the small-amount guaranteed interest-subsidized loan work, provide better development conditions for entrepreneurial farming households, and drive more farmers to increase income and prosper.
