Che Wangui said he is from Xiji County, Guyuan City, and his family had poor living conditions with no source of income. In 2007, he moved his whole family to Xigou Village, spent more than 40,000 yuan, and bought two earthen houses and more than ten mu of land, starting a new life by working odd jobs and farming. Although life was a bit better than back home, with 8 people in the family, they still lived frugally. In 2010, the Zhongwei Xiaojuan Beef Cattle Breeding Professional Cooperative was established, bringing a new turning point to his life.

Che Wangui said that at first he bought two cattle on credit from the cooperative, and now he has expanded to more than ten cattle. He said he was grateful that the Xiaojuan Beef Cattle Breeding Professional Cooperative let him raise cattle on credit. At the same time, the cooperative also provided knowledge on epidemic prevention and feeding, turning him from a cattle-raising layman into a local expert. Now he raises 12 cattle and 48 sheep, with an annual income of more than 100,000 yuan, and his life is getting more and more prosperous.
