Tangerine Farming Sets Guo Fuyong on the Path to Entrepreneurship and Prosperity

Guo Fuyong lives in Tuanshan Villager Group, Longjie Village, Wenlong Town, Jingdong County. He established a tangerine orchard on his own farmland and set out on a path to entrepreneurship and prosperity.

"How are the sales?" the author asked. "The tangerines I grow are pure green products with a sweet, clean taste and no off-flavors at all. Sales are great - merchants keep coming to place orders, and they sell as far away as Beijing, Shanghai and other places," Guo Fuyong said with a smile.

Besides selling to purchasers, Guo Fuyong's tangerines have another sales channel - tourist picking. Guo Fuyong said that with 60 mu of tangerine orchard, his gross annual income is about 1 million yuan.

Guo Fuyong wants to build his tangerines into a brand, and to lead the neighboring villagers in developing the tangerine industry and opening agritourism farmhouses.
