Wushan prosperity leader helps impoverished households raise native bees to increase income

Recently, impoverished households in Group 1 of Xingwang Village, Luoping Town, Wushan County, are busy raising native bees.

The village has 39 impoverished households, with a plan to shake off poverty in 2017. On December 20, 2015, Chen Zhencai, a "prosperity leader" in the village, mobilized more than 10 impoverished households to establish the Qunli Native Bee Breeding Professional Cooperative, developing a native bee breeding and sales industry. "One colony of native bees can bring in more than 3,000 yuan, and one household can earn nearly 10,000 yuan a year," Chen Zhencai introduced. At present, they have raised 200 colonies of native bees, and this year 6 impoverished households can be lifted out of poverty.
