On March 5, deputy Ma Ruiqiang spoke at the plenary meeting of the Inner Mongolia delegation.

In 2013, when Ma Ruiqiang, a deputy to the National People's Congress, attended the session for the first time, he brought the sweet corn he had grown to the venue, hoping people would pay attention to the fresh suggestions he brought from the countryside. This post-80s PhD in microbiology from China Agricultural University returned to his hometown in Inner Mongolia after graduation to farm the land, and he wanted to become a professional farmer in the new era. For several consecutive years, the suggestions he brought to the session were all related to the development of professional farmers. This year, he is paying more attention to "Internet Plus" content, believing that rural industrial development must keep up with the internet. Photo by Xinhua News Agency reporter Gao Jie
