On March 9, technical staff at the flower base of the Second Greening Division of the Yinchuan Municipal Forestry Bureau were comparing cineraria samples.

To make good preparatory arrangements for the 2017 Flower Expo, this year the Second Greening Division of the Yinchuan Municipal Forestry Bureau introduced a series of potted flower varieties from abroad, including China asters, cleomes, cinerarias, mixed-color dwarf hollyhocks and plume cockscombs. After local seedling cultivation and acclimatization, they will be displayed at the flower expo next year. At present, nearly 100,000 pots of seedlings have been cultivated, and this year on "May 1" they will meet the public in large color-block group displays along some roads, in small pocket parks and by the Aiyi River along Qinshui South Street.
