Ten years of perseverance finally opens the door to prosperity; no pain, no gain
In Songxi Town, Wuning County, there is an entrepreneur who persevered bitterly for ten years, endured all kinds of hardships and failures, and finally knocked open the door to prosperity. He is Wang Changshui, a leader in entrepreneurship.
After years of wandering, he returned home to start his first business. Wang Changshui went to the coastal areas to work with fellow townsmen and friends at a very young age. He drifted around outside for more than ten years, working as a painter and a construction worker, and lived a very varied life. With his own hardworking hands, the down-to-earth Wang Changshui saved up a certain amount of money. After having some savings, the idea of starting a business sprouted in his heart. He acted as soon as he thought of it. After firming up his resolve to start a business, Wang Changshui quit his job and returned to Wuning County to start a business. However, the road of entrepreneurship was full of thorns. Wang Changshui had no entrepreneurial experience at all and did not understand management either, so his first business venture did not succeed.
After accumulation, he set out on the journey again. Although this first business venture failed, Wang Changshui did not give up the dream in his heart. By 2005, after long-term observation, he determined that navel oranges had very good market prospects. Starting a business again, Wang Changshui was not as blind as he had been the first time. In order to master navel orange planting techniques, he used his friends' connections to go to the Gannan Citrus Research Institute to study and enrich his planting skills. After initially mastering navel orange planting techniques, Wang Changshui continued to adopt a steady and solid strategy, introducing excellent navel orange varieties for trial planting and gradually expanding the planting scale.
A difficult start, pressing forward against difficulties. The soil and water of Wuning County differ greatly from the climate of Gannan, and when Wang Changshui introduced navel oranges, experts predicted that they would not adapt to the local conditions. Sure enough, due to climate problems and immature techniques and other reasons, the planted navel oranges showed no progress for a full 3 years, and the survival rate was very low. Facing such a dilemma, Wang Changshui confronted the doubts of others head-on, continued to focus on planting navel oranges, and enriched his theoretical knowledge by reading books, consulting materials, and asking experts for advice, looking for the problems in his seedling planting and constantly exploring in practice.
Bitter persistence finally ushers in the harvest season. Through unremitting efforts, the navel oranges planted by Wang Changshui finally achieved a bumper harvest, and in taste and color they were in no way inferior to the Gannan navel oranges from the original producing area. After the first bumper harvest, Wang Changshui's confidence increased greatly. While learning and exploring new techniques and introducing new varieties, he also began large-scale expansion of planting. Today, Wang Changshui's navel orange orchard covers more than 80 mu, and this year's navel orange output is expected to exceed 100,000 jin. Ten years of arduous entrepreneurship have finally brought the fragrance of oranges everywhere.
Cutting through thorns all the way, bravely venturing all the way, and gnawing through the "hard bones" of entrepreneurship all the way, Wang Changshui finally tasted the sweet fruit of success. Relying on tenacious and persistent hard work, he successfully opened the door to happiness and prosperity. Wang Changshui's entrepreneurial experience tells us that for the things you are optimistic about, you must never give up easily. In entrepreneurship, persistence is what matters most.
