College graduate quits job at listed company to return home and raise cattle, helping fellow villagers get rich

After quitting a high-paying job at a listed company to go home and raise cattle, Liu Bo, a graduate of Hubei University of Technology Engineering and Technology College, became a local entrepreneurial pioneer in just two years and also helped more than a thousand fellow villagers get rich. He was recently named one of Jingmen City's Top Ten New Rural Entrepreneurial Youths.
Liu Bo graduated in 2008 and later was hired by the country's largest listed curtain wall company, with a generous salary. In 2012, Liu Bo and his family traveled to **, where he inadvertently attended the 2012 China Cattle Industry Conference. He learned that the number of cattle sources in China was shrinking sharply, and most enterprises relied on bringing in cattle from other places, which was not only high-risk but also expensive. He began to think about going home to raise cattle. In 2013, despite everyone around him objecting, he resigned and went home to raise cattle.
At the start he had no funds, so his college classmates helped him raise money. In July 2013, he brought in his first batch of cattle. Because he was impatient, he failed to carry out proper epidemic prevention measures, and an outbreak occurred. More than 100 cattle were "wiped out," and his partner also left him.
However, the optimistic him was not defeated. After learning his lesson, Liu Bo humbly sought advice from experts, strictly followed scientific breeding methods, and observed and accumulated experience in practice.
Through his efforts, Liu Bo's company has now built 14,400 standardized cattle sheds and imported 100 purebred Australian cows, becoming the first enterprise in Hubei Province to introduce breeding cattle from abroad. He also led more than a thousand nearby farming households to develop an ecological circular industrial park model of "raising cattle with straw, growing mushrooms with cattle manure, and returning mushroom substrate to the fields."
"Dreams can be realized if you persist." Liu Bo said he will always encourage himself in this way in the future.
