He decided to further expand the planting scale and successively built three new greenhouses, mainly planting tomatoes, peppers and the like, and adopted a planting model of raising seedlings in greenhouse nurseries and growing two crops a year, with annual income reaching 150,000 yuan.

While doing a good job in greenhouse production, Wang Hairong also introduced various new vegetable varieties to find suitable variety resources for the village's vegetable production. Over the past few years, he has successively introduced new and superior varieties such as the strawberry Sweet Charlie, the melon Yongtian 2005, and Jiatian No. 2, laying a good foundation for the development of the village's vegetable industry.

In order to further open up the market for vegetables sold outside the village, so that the greenhouse vegetables grown by the whole village can fetch a good price and the economic benefits for the broad masses of vegetable farmers growing greenhouse vegetables can be improved, Wang Hairong, with the help of the district's agricultural department, established the Yancun Vegetable Association, which is responsible for the unified sale of the vegetable products produced by the whole village. During the production and sales season, he and the group from the village committee and the vegetable association went to Jiexiu, Yuci and other places to learn techniques, seek markets and carry out sales promotions. After becoming rich by growing greenhouse vegetables, Wang Haiyun always kept the poor households in the village in mind.
