Poultry Farming Specialist Leads Neighboring Villagers to Prosper Together

Liu Daojun, born in 1971, began the business of hatching chicks in the 1990s and accumulated rich experience in poultry breed identification, feeding management, and crossbreeding promotion. In 2008, Liu Daojun founded a poultry company in his hometown and jointly initiated the establishment of a breeding professional cooperative with local chicken farmers, adopting the "company + cooperative + farmers" model, establishing an interest linkage mechanism of "sharing benefits and bearing risks together," connecting the relationships among breeding, hatching, breeding egg recovery, chick sales, commercial chicken breeding, and adult chicken recovery, and guiding farmers onto a specialized and modern production track. In order to lead more neighbors to prosperity, Liu Daojun regularly holds technical seminars and provides free training in breeding technology for farmers. After years of effort, his products are sold to Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Jiangxi, Hubei, and multiple cities and counties in his own province, and more than 300 local farming households have embarked on the road to prosperity through breeding. Currently, the company's annual turnover exceeds 100 million yuan, and each farming household increases its annual income by an average of more than 100,000 yuan. In 2013, Liu Daojun himself was awarded the title of Leader in Farmers' Entrepreneurship and Prosperity in Anhui Province; in 2014, his company was awarded the title of Provincial Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization; and in 2015, it received the title of Provincial Demonstration Farm for Standardized Livestock and Poultry Breeding.
