Female college graduate returns home to start a business raising goats, helping villagers get rich

On April 17, in Baihepu Village, Liubei Town, Yunyang District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, Liu Yuwei is tending her goats.

After graduating from university, Liu Yuwei resolutely returned to her hometown to start a business. In 2013, with her family's support, she contracted 1,000 mu of mountain forest in Baihepu Village and, taking advantage of the hometown's good ecological and natural environment, began raising goats. The goats she raises have an annual slaughter volume of more than 300, and the scale of her operation has begun to show returns.

Recently, Liu Yuwei registered and established the Yunyang District Yunting Breeding Professional Cooperative, allowing farmers in the village to participate, using her own knowledge to provide free technical guidance to villagers, so that more fellow villagers can start businesses together and get rich together, fulfilling her life's dream.
